Controversial rapper 6ix9ine (real name Daniel Hernandez) was recently sued by a concert promotion company, as reported. Online Radar. In the petition, rapper “RONDO” is accused of failing to perform his obligations to perform despite accepting payment to perform.
Specifically, JJD Entertainment said 6ix9ine agreed to perform at Houston’s Humble Civic Center this past June, eventually accepting a total of $120,000 to perform. In addition to this amount, JJD Entertainment is also said to have paid an additional $28,000 for the rapper’s private flight, and multiple renegotiations are said to cost the company another $100,000.
However, when it came to June 27, 6ix9ine supposedly landed in Texas, took the money and left the site without execution. This resulted in JJD Entertainment having to refund all ticket fare, which allegedly cost them up to $178,000. The unused concert venue is also said to have cost the company $100,000.
In addition, JJD Entertainment is also suing 6ix9ine for character defamation, as the rapper previously stated that he withdrew from the show due to nonpayment by the company. Special, 6ix9ine said he was paid $250,000 for the show, although JJD Entertainment objected to this.
